needed something to enable me to do yoga on my stone floor and this works great. Typical yoga matts, by comparison, are too thin, too short, and too narrow. This is just the right size. Also, since this matt seems primarily targeted for children I was concerned it would be too soft for me, a 6 foot 210 lb muscular male. But it is perfect density. The foam is nice and dense--no push through to floor. And it is surprising light for how dense it is. This matt is easy to fold up and deploy, and doesn't take much space folded up. Also, the color blue is somewhat darker than what the picture shows, which is good--I didn't want a candy colored matt.
